Start with outcomes, not hours
Pricing by the hour of content undersells most courses. Students pay for an outcome — price against that outcome instead.
Testing a price before you commit
A waitlist with a stated price is one of the cheapest ways to validate demand before you've built a single lesson.
If conversion holds at your target price, you have real signal. If it doesn't, you've learned that cheaply, not after a launch.
Adjusting after launch
Treat your first price as a hypothesis, not a commitment. Most academies revisit pricing within two cohorts once they understand true demand.
